The Big Idea…
The Bible asks us to give our first and our best back to God, and He will bless the rest. We return to the Lord the first 10% of what He’s given us because it belongs to Him. While everything we have is from God, He uses the principle of tithing to develop in us a heart that puts Him first. We want to help you develop your relationship with God through learning to trust Him with what for most of us is one of the most difficult things for us to trust Him with and that’s our finances.
Starting to tithe can be a big and frightening commitment so a great way to start is with the 90 Day Challenge. Essentially, it’s a challenge based on the promise God makes in Malachi 3:10-11.
God says “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. Malachi 3:10
This is the only place in the Bible where God tells us to put Him to the test.
If you tithe for 90 days and at the end of that you don’t feel that God has blessed your life (this may be financial or in relationships, work, health, creativity – so many ways that God wants to bless us) then we commit that we will refund all your giving from those 90 days.
The 90 Day Challenge Terms
- I would like to test God’s faithfulness by accepting the 90 Day Challenge. I agree that for the 90 day period starting from the completion of the online form, I will give God, through Frontline Church, a first 10% of my income. At the end of the 90 day period, if I am not convinced of God’s faithfulness to bless my life as a result of my obedience to His Word, then I will be entitled to request a refund of the full amount of contributions made during that 90 day period.
- I understand that my giving needs to be identifiable – by cheque, card, standing order, online or if by cash using a clearly labelled giving envelope.
- I understand that I cannot seek a refund prior to the end of the 90 days, nor can I seek a refund for any money given before the start of the challenge.
- I understand that any request for a refund must be made within 30 days of the end of the 90 Day Challenge period.
