Job Role: Book Keeper

Hi, I'm Val Banton.
I work in the Finanace Department as a Book Keeper. This means I collect together all the money you give to us, put it in the bank, and then when all those other nice people on this (page/ site/ whatever) need some money, I help out by paying their bills!! I keep the office running, while Pete (my boss) deals with things like budgets and audits. But basically, without our department, no one does anything and no one gets paid for doing it.
At home, I'm a wonderful wife to Bob, and we have three grown up children. I read a lot, do crosswords & jigsaw puzzles, and I am just coming up to finishing the first year of an accountancy course.
