Job Role: Finance Manager

As you can see, I am Frontline’s Finance Manager. This means I am responsible for the good management of all of our money with the help of Val, our Book keeper. Managing a £1M plus turnover is busy and can be challenging and stressful, but it is good to remember the words of Jesus “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also”. This means I look after Frontline’s heart! And one thing I see constantly is that our people have extremely generous hearts.

I also run a small business as a social photographer. I concentrate on weddings, but also cover other events like christenings or engagements, and enjoy portraiture (adults, children babies - and pets!) On holidays, I can indulge my personal passion for travel photography.

I am married with three grown up children, and have just become a granddad to Jack Dexter Welsby! I was a Civil Servant for 20 years, working as a “Vatman” and as a uniformed Customs Officer, and I spent a year working for YWAM, the highlight of which was spending 2 months in Uganda.
