Wavertree Athletics Centre has generously given permission for church members to park on their SHALE car park on Sundays...
If you are coming to one of our church services, please make use of this car park (on Wellington Road) rather than parking on residential streets around church.
Parking outside our neighbours houses can be a real inconvenience for them, so please be a blessing by making use of the sports centre's kind offer!
Exceptions
There are certain dates when the sports centre shale car park is unavailable due to scheduled special events there. We also ask that coaches or minibuses do not use this car park at any time.
Please DON'T use the car park on these dates:
- Sunday 27th November 2011
- Sunday 11th December 2011
- Friday 20th, Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd January 2012
- Sunday 19th February 2012
- Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th March 2012
- Friday 9th March 2012
- Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th May 2012
How to find it
The Wavertree Athletics Centre car park is located just around the corner from church on Wellington Road, a mere few minutes walk. When you turn into the Sports Centre / Park entrance, make sure you use the shale car park on the right (by the Athletics & Tennis Centre) and not the tarmaced car park to the left (by the Aquatics Centre swimming pool).
