Gill Chantre

Job role: Reception
Volunteers in: Stewarding team & Community Leader

I’m Gill Chantre,

I’m one of the Frontline Receptionists and will be there in person or at the end of the telephone to greet you, make you feel welcome and help answer any enquires you may have. My other role is taking bookings for the Main Hall and the other rooms we have for hire, and maintaining our booking system.

I’m single and very happy thank you. I have 3 cats, Frankie, Annie and Yetsee (she’s blind), who love to boss me about. I have my own hair and teeth, so I’m doing well really and greatly blessed!

Things I love: walking, cooking (particularly curries), photography, twitching, travelling and current affairs, new shoes and anything that makes me laugh.
Pet hates: Low energy light bulbs and allocated parking spaces that are too small to actually allow you to get out of your car!

I care about making all who come to into the Frontline building feel welcome, and want to take every opportunity to share a smile, a chat and the gospel with those who come in who don’t know Jesus yet. I lead the Beit Shalom Community with Ruth Ball and my heart’s desire is to build bridges with the Jewish Community, demonstrating the love of God. Our vision is that one day we will all worship together as one...
