Job Role: I.T. / Media
Volunteers in: Youth Community Leader & Building Lock-up
Hi there, my name is Andrew and I work as Frontline’s IT Manager.
I look after the building’s network of computers, printers and smart-phones making sure that all the departments and ministries have access to the resources they need to complete the great works that they do. It’s a large and varied job - I can be buying toner for a printer one minute and then training staff how to use our internal intranet the next, there’s very rarely a dull moment in the day.
I’m originally from a small town in West Cumbria called Maryport (which actually has many a link to Liverpool) just outside of the Lake District.
I arrived in Liverpool as a student in the autumn of 2003 where I was accosted by a very tall student worker who told me about Frontline and I’ve never really looked back since. I’ve volunteered in lots of areas over the years but I currently co-lead our older youth Community “Sinai” for 14-18 year olds. I love seeing young people unlock their gifting and potential, building strong relationships and drawing closer to God. I’ve also been on the evening service lock up rota for the last 4 years.
p.s. I've also been told I look like someone from Glee(?!)
