Think about leaving a Legacy...
CONSIDER supportING US in your will
One way you can support the work of Frontline and all of our projects is by leaving a gift in your Will (a legacy). A legacy gift is free of inheritance tax and can also help to reduce the tax burden on your estate.
The good news is that leaving a gift in your Will isn't complicated, expensive or difficult. Providing that you think through your plans for the future and speak to a solicitor who understands your personal circumstances, it should be relatively straightforward.
After you've made sure your family is cared for in your Will, you may think about supporting various charities and causes, if you would like to include Frontline then here's how!
how to leave a legacy to frontline
There are different kinds of legacies that you can leave in your will:
- A percentage share of the total estate (e.g. you might choose to give 10% to charity)
- A fixed sum of money (Pecuniary Legacy)
- The remainder (Residuary Legacy) of your estate after debts and gifts to others have been paid
- A gift (Specific Legacy) this could be a painting, a car or an item of jewellery
If you haven't written your Will yet , all you have to do is inform your solicitor of your wishes when they draw up the Will. If you have already made your Will and you want to add to it, you can make an amendment called a Codicil.
Your solicitor will require the following information:
- Our registered charity number : 1109814
- Our address: Frontline Trust, PO Box 38, Wavertree, Liverpool , L15 0FH
You can create your own Will in your free time by visiting www.totallyfreewills.co.uk an informative and helpful site that takes you through all the steps and it really is free!
