Below are some recommended resources for those who are curious about or exploring Christianity, as well as some for new Christians to help them build their faith.

Mentoring Resources for New Christians

4Life - This book covers the main foundations of the Christian faith over 40 daily readings. Each new Christian is paired with a mentor who meets them after every 10 readings to answer any questions they may have and to pray with them. Copies of the book can be bought from reception at a cost of £5. 

Challenging Lifestyles (1-3) – DVD talks looking at different lifestyle and theological issues such as: How to pray, how to stop worrying, how to change your world etc. Very practical with good accompanying guides.

A Life Worth Living - The official Alpha follow up (6 session DVD), but is more basic and less practical than Challenging lifestyles.

Seeker Resources

Alpha Course - Well known for those who want to explore Christianity, Alpha can be run in a variety of formats, using talk outlines, DVDs or books and the length of each course can be adjusted. (More at the Alpha website)

Nooma - Short, thought provoking films in a contemporary and creative style (For examples, take a look at the Nooma website)
