How to give
make a one-off donation
It's easy and safe to give online - just click on the button below and a new window will open with a secure page where you can make a donation:
regular donations
If you want to give regularly, a weekly or monthly tithe for instance, the easiest way to give is to set up a simple direct debit instruction:
- Download a standing order form here or pick one up next time you're in the building.
- Print it and fill in your details
- Make sure you fill out the Gift Aid* declaration if you are a UK taxpayer
- Hand the form back to us
- We'll do the rest!
To give donations by cash or cheque, just place them in the wicker collection baskets at Sunday services. Gift Aid* envelopes are supplied for cash donations.
* what is Gift Aid?
If you're a taxpayer and you donate money to charity, the government will generously give us the tax back on your donation. It's totally worth the bother, just take a look...
What Gift Aid does to your donation:
| Your gift | Tax refund | Total donantion |
| £10 | £2.82 | £12.82 |
| £50 | £14.10 | £64.10 |
| £100 | £28.21 | £128.21 |
| £500 | £141.03 | £641.03 |
| £1000 | £282.05 | £1282.05 |
The basic tax rate is now 25%, but HMRC is currently still giving relief at the old 28% rate, so we in fact receive more tax back than was originally paid! Good times!
To give you an example of how much this affects overall giving, in the twelve months up to September 2008, Frontline received well over £125,000 from the Government. That represents around 10% of our total income. So, please do fill out a Gift Aid declaration whenever you give, it makes a real difference.
