Students

Welcome Students!

Frontline has been a great student church for over 2 decades and has an ongoing commitment to helping Christians like you live for Jesus while at uni.

We hope that you’ll develop lifelong friendships while you’re here, as well as a dynamic, robust passionate faith.

For students at Frontline…

If you are a student in Liverpool, there will be at least one Missional Community based near to you. These are places of friendship, challenge, spiritual growth and outreach.
While you’re at uni, we think it’s really important to get rooted into a local church family straight away.

There’s all sorts going on for students at Frontline Church, most of which takes place through our Missional Communities. We also have termly student gatherings and larger events like our annual Weekend Away. Stay up to date on what’s happening through our Facebook Page or our Instagram

“Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.”- Luke 9:48

We're so proud of our students who went to Romania. The trip had a profound effect on us. We were shocked by the poverty of the Roma (not in a way that surprised us) but when we
held the hands of the children, looked into their eyes, heard their stories, and saw the reality of their situation the shock set in and become real.

We were particularly humbled by the joy of the children we worked with despite their situation and over the week there was a shift in our perspective of materialism and consumerism and what made us 'happy'. We began to process the tension of suffering, of poverty, justice, and the goodness and grace of God, and came away with better questions rather than answers. We're still processing and God continues to teach us now that we're back home. We fell in love with Romania, it's people, and are so grateful for our time there.

Thanks also to everyone who so generously prayed for us and supported us financially, we totally couldn't have gone without you!

*WORLD CUP SWEEP STAKE FUNDRAISER*

11 students from Frontline Church are heading to Romania to partner with a charity called FAST who work with the Roma community. The Roma are a people group who are one of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people groups in Europe. The team will be building houses for families and running children’s work for a week whilst they’re there.

We’re running a World Cup Seep Stake to fundraise for the trip!

-SEND YOUR FIRE, 24-3 PRAYER-

We have a prayer slot from 9pm- 11pm on Friday (18th) to pray for/ with students. I'll be leading a time of worship and prayer and would love for you to join me as we pray for the students of this city, for the season of exams we're in, for the anxiety, stress of not just these next few weeks but future plans and hopes. It's fair to say that we need all need God but where do we start?

Let's start with prayer.

Take a look at the link and sign up for your own personal prayer slot. I promise that one hour alone with God will not feel enough-
