Prayer & Fasting
Prayer is of course a central component of every Christian's life, and as a church we encourage the biblical practice of prayer and fasting together.
We start each year with 3-5 days of prayer and fasting together as a church and encourage everyone to incorporate smaller regular fasts into their lives.
Why fast?
The main aim of fasting with prayer is not to get God to do something – a kind of spiritual blackmail; but to draw close to God, to hear from Him, to allow Him to purify our hearts and to receive all that He wants to give us (anointing, authority, revelation, faith etc!)
Before attempting any sustained period of fasting, please download and read the guidelines below. You may also like to listen to two church talks about why and how of fasting *

Healing Prayer
Every Saturday throughout the year, you can come and receive prayer for healing at Healing Rooms. This is also available from the team on Sunday mornings after the Family Service.
If you would like to learn more about praying for the sick and what the Bible says about healing, keep an eye out on our Events Calendar for the next School of Healing training weekend.
