All about Communities
A community is a group of 10-40 people who meet together regularly for the purpose of friendship, mission and worship of God.
Each community has three main elements:
- UP – Times to worship God, learn about Jesus and build up our faith
- IN – Times to build genuine friendships, enjoy life and have fun together Each community expresses these three elements in different ways and each has a particular focus, whether that’s a shared interest, people group or geographical area.
- OUT – Times to carry out the ‘mission’ of sharing Jesus with others, caring for people and being inclusive as we involve those who want to know more about God
As well as larger community gatherings, Communities have small groups who meet regularly for mutual discipleship, prayer and Bible study.
